What are your delivery charges?

Shipping charges are a based on distance (zip code) and order size. We deliver commercial orders with our own trucks in Southern California. Northern California and out-of-state orders are shipped by common carrier.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship directly to Canada. We also ship to Miami for Caribbean shipments and to San Diego/Chula Vista for Mexican orders. For all other destinations, please contact our customer service team at 626-449-6800.

What is your minimum order?

Our minimum order is $500.

What is the approximate ETA from date of order to ship date?

Orders for IN STOCK items are generally packed and shipped within 10 business days.

Are items always in stock or do they need to be special ordered?

Our goal is to have sufficient inventory on hand to meet demand. However, our inventory levels fluctuate due to turnover and production and shipping constraints for imported goods.

Do you have saucers to go with each pot?

We have a variety of ceramic and plastic saucers available for most pot sizes.

Many pots are sold in sets but I’m only interested in buying a single item. Can you split a set?

Yes. The reason we sell sets is that this makes for efficient shipping and helps reduce costs. However, in most cases we can split up a set and sell pots separately for a 25% surcharge.

Why are no two pots alike?

Many of our Asian sourced pots are handcrafted using time-honored techniques and artisan skills. Glazing is applied by hand and the pots are fired in traditional wood firing kilns. This process can create variations in color, shape and size.

What is your returns policy?

All items are subject to a restocking fee of 25% for returns or 15% for exchanges. After 30 days, no returns or exchanges will be accepted.

Care & Maintenance

Do all of your pots have drainage holes?

No, but most of our pots do.  If your pot does not have a drainage hole, we can drill one for you. Conversely, we can also seal the hole and waterproof the pot on the inside. We also sell liners. For more details and pricing, please contact our customer support team on 626-449-6800.

Are all of your pots frost proof?

Our ceramic pots are high fired, very strong and generally frost resistant. However, a proper drainage hole in the bottom of the pot is essential. When water remains in the pot during winter, the freeze-thaw cycle can damage any container. It is recommended to store the pots in a covered area that will not be exposed to harsh weather.

How do I remove the white spots from “hard” water deposits on the outside of my pot?

Salt and calcium mineral buildup in your city water can create white spots on the glaze of the pots. These are easily cleaned by using vinegar; an S.O.S metal scrub pad can be used to clean persistent stains and does not harm the glaze or color of the pot.

Care Tips Clayfibre Planters

  • Clayfibre planters are lightweight containers made of recycled materials such as crushed stone, adding composite matter and fiberglass. The clayfibre material is slightly porous and allows the plant to breathe.
  • Clayfibre pots are environmentally friendly and require only 10% of the energy used making ceramic or plastic pots.
  • All our clayfibre pots are designed for use outdoors but they will look beautiful indoors as well.
  • Use lightweight potting soil (not top soil) when planting the clayfibre containers to avoid bulging.
  • Lava or drainage rock or non-biodegradable foam packing peanuts should be used at the bottom of the planter to ensure proper drainage.
  • Once planted up, take care not to push, pull or tug the clayfibre pots by the rim, this can cause them to break. The weight of soil and plant material is substantial.
  • Clayfibre planters may be cleaned with just soap and water. They have a natural finish that will weather gently over time with an attractive patina.
